Fantasy #1: Jack-o’-lantern fondue

mimolette jack-o'-lantern

Here is my crazy idea for Halloween. If I could get my hands on a mimolette (a hard orange cheese banned in the U.S. in 2013 because of the mites, which give the rind its dusty colour, used to add flavour to the cheese) I would: (1) hollow out the mimolette; (2) carve a scary face onto the mimolette; (3) scatter chunks of the carved-out cheese back inside the mimolette (4) flambé the mimolette; (5) eat the melted cheese inside in whichever way I want. Spear some bread and stir it in the mimolette fondue pot! What would your alternative Jack-o’-Lantern be?
